Ash Longbow with Mary Rose Sidenocks

Self Ash longbow made in the medieval way with Mary Rose style sidenocks. Supplied without a handle but with a mark noting the correct arrow position.  Ash has been used for centuries as a replacement for Yew when supplies were scarce. It gives a forgiving and long lasting bow. Tillered in the same way as the large self Yew warbows, these Ash longbows come full compass for excellent performance and speed. 
 
These bows are designed for archers wanting something more historical than the normal Victorian style laminated longbow. 

These bows are made to order from a stock of Ash staves. The delivery times is much shorter than a typical custom order bow but due to the high level of demmand please do expect 6-8 weeks for production. Pictures of a similar bow for reference.
