I'm fascinated by the design of all archery bows. More down to my interest in Medieval English history I make longbows but I've no doubt had I been born in Korea I would be making Korean style bows. I wouldn't say I am particularly technical, I've learned to be more technical in my approach with modern longbows. But for a good 10 years all I made was simple self longbows with hand tools. It was the perfect education.

Now I produce a range of historical English Longbows, modern fibreglass bows and a range of archery accessories.

I'm a big reader of fantasy especially LoTR and I think that's where my interest in history came from.

I'm also fascinated by Medieval armour, if I have a spare day my creative energy is put towards forging medieval armour. I'm currently working on a replica of the suit of Sir John de Roos who fought at Agincourt when he was 16 - his suit of armour is immortalised in the form of a detailed effigy which I have researched and studied. One day I will finish the suit of armour....hopefully.
