Pacific Yew 128lb @ 30”
Reflex/deflex design, meaning in this bow the limbs are naturally set back. A rare find in a Yew stave which yields excellent performance in the final bow, made to a close copy of a Mary Rose bow of which only a few had a similar unbraced shape. This one has been finished with a medieval style arrow mark. Many examples of arrow pass design can be seen on the original Mary Rose warbows and this bow copies a common ‘bear paw’ style mark This bow would suit a maximum of a 30” draw and would ideally be retained for distance shooting, although it would also suit as an ‘everyday’ bow for the right archer.
