Longbow Making Workshop
Leave with your brand new Longbow made by you with one of our high quality Pacific Yew staves.
This course is aimed at those who are familiar with longbows and shooting them and have some basic skills with hands tools. Full tuition will be given and finished Yew bows will be available as examples to copy. All the necessary tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own as well if you want to learn how best to use them for bow making. I can also help properly sharpen tools if needed.
February 21st 22nd 23rd
Expect to start at 10am Friday for the Yew course. Finishing around 3pm Sunday. Tea and coffee provided and available throughout.
Based in our workshop in Kirton, Boston, PE20 1NN
Important
There will be a maximum of three participants so there will be plenty of one-to-one coaching.
Expect to be working with hand tools throughout the course, and if needed, Friday and Saturday can be long days.
Bring your own coffee mug and bottle. Also bring a hand towel as we will try and keep Yew dust off our arms and hands.
