90lb English Self Yew early Medieval Longbow
90lb @ 28" 68" nock to nock length. This is as close to historically accurate early medieval longbow as can be made. It's shorter than the typical Mary Rose style warbow and would represent the typical bow used for hunting ca. 700-1000AD. The bow is made from a single peice of English Yew split by hand and worked with handtools. The string is made from natural linen and designed to work with the sidenocks attached to this bow.
As an historical example the bow is best displayed and used for presentations.
