148lb Pacific Yew Warbow
One of the best examples of a Tudor warbow which would not look out of place in the store rooms of the Mary Rose Museum. Pulling 148lb @ 30" with a maximum draw of 31". This bow is designed to cast heavy arrows a long distance and will do so very effectively. The bow is made from very dense, tight ringed Yew as would be found aboard the warship.
This bow was made as close to the correct way as possible. Powertools are limited to the early stages, tillering is done simply and efficiently. This bow was made to resemble the historically accurate side of Tudor archery. The correct arrows should always be used and advice and guidance is available. This bow in particular will require carefully matched and weighted arrows.
