142lb Pacific Yew Warbow
Made as a close replica of a Mary Rose style warbow. Pulling 142lb @ 30" with a maximum draw of 31". This bow is designed to cast heavy arrows a long distance and will do so very effectively. The bow is made from very dense, tight ringed Yew as would be found aboard the warship.
This bow was made as close to the correct way as possible. Powertools are limited to the early stages, tillering is done simply and efficiently. This bow was made to resemble the historically accurate side of Tudor archery. The correct arrows should always be used and advice and guidance is available.
Although it will not impact performance this bow has a compression mark in the centre across a pin knot on the belly.
