128lb Pacific Yew Warbow
A medieval warbow inspired by depictions of self Yew warbows with bottom limb reflex. Practical tests have shown this to be an excellent design balancing longevity and performance. Pulling 128lb @ 30" with a maximum draw of 30". This bow is designed to cast heavy arrows a long distance and will do so very effectively. The bow is made from very dense, tight ringed Yew with a highly circular profile. The bow's tiller has been adjusted to compensate for the relex held in the bottom limb.
This bow was made as close to the correct way as possible. Powertools are limited to the early stages, tillering is done simply and efficiently. This bow was made to resemble the historically accurate side of Tudor archery. This bow has been heated to enhance its performance, this process is correct for medieval and Tudor bows and is seen around the world among top tier bow-makers.
